NEWLYWEDS Joe and Kaz Tulley had a 'wheelie' great start to their marriage – as the first new bride and groom to take a whirl on Sheffield's big wheel!
The happy couple went for a spin on the city's newest tourist attraction after getting hitched in the Town Hall.Joe, aged 30, and Kaz, 31, from Killamarsh were watched on the Fargate attraction by their guests as they opted for a unique way to celebrate their first few minutes as man and wife.Joe's dad Ernest Tulley, 58, from Killamarsh, said: "They checked a few days before the wedding if they could take a ride in all their wedding regalia and the organisers said it was fine."It's nice to think they're the first new bride and groom to have been on the wheel in Sheffield. When they came down they said the views were amazing, they could see so far across the city."Joe, a session musician, met Kaz, a receptionist, five years ago when he was a playing in the band Slipstream.
They have an 18-month-old daughter, Heidi.After getting off the wheel, the couple joined 150 guests for a reception at the Rutland Hotel in Glossop Road, Broomhill.
